The Week After...

The Diwali break was good. In fact it also helped me recharge my batteries.I had come back with my mind all made up to start going to the gym, again. But the starting troubles were probably more than I expected. Anyways did a day at the gym, last week. So that was a plus.Apparently there are some trials for the office cricket team next week. Though I havent played any cricket of worth in the past two years, I presume it will be worth going there and testing myself out.

The football on Sundays has become a routine. The game starts at around 8.30 in the night. The flood lit road at the Bandra Kurla Complex comes alive with self styled Beckhams playing as if their lives depended on winning the game:-)I must be the oldest out there, with the others being in their early 20s.In a way it is a fitting end to the weekend, giving me the apetite for another 5 days of work.

I came across this page in one of the LJ write ups.(http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalcompass)Found out at the end of my answering session that I got into the Authoritarian-Right quadrant by a small distance.(Right as in the economic scale) So much for political beliefs.

Recently I found that a Kerala Ranji player gets 35k per match.A pleasant feeling considering the condition a few years back when they used to travel 2nd class on train to play their inter-state matches.
